Chadi Maana is a distinguished documentary producer with over a decade of experience in the media industry, specializing in producing, directing, and managing a diverse array of projects across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and Europe. Chadi’s academic journey began at Our Lady of Grace School in Kfarshima, Lebanon, where he completed his Lebanese Official Baccalaureate in Sociology and Economics between 1995 and 2007. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in overseeing the production of various programs, ensuring high-quality content delivery, and managing production teams to meet project objectives. Parallel to his role at Doha360, Chadi has maintained a successful freelance career since 2010, contributing to numerous notable projects. In early 2024, he served as the Local Producer for Adidas Supernova, coordinating production efforts and ensuring seamless execution. Between October and November 2023, he was the Production Manager for the Media City Brand Film by Vicomms, where he managed production logistics and facilitated effective communication among stakeholders. From March to May 2023, Chadi produced films for Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in collaboration with Storytailors, showcasing his versatility and ability to handle complex projects.
Chadi’s expertise was pivotal during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, where he worked as a Local Producer and Fixer for Televisa Univision Mexico from August to December 2022. In this role, he facilitated international media coverage, providing essential support and local insights. Concurrently, he produced “China Suarez in A Star in Qatar,” a documentary for Disney+ and Star+, which earned two Bronze Telly Awards in 2023 for Best Television General Travel & Tourism and Best Cinematography and Camera. From November 2021 to March 2022, Chadi served as the Senior Producer for “Last Train To Qatar,” an ESPN Originals documentary featured on Disney+ and ESPN. This project garnered a nomination for a Sports Emmy Award for Best Outstanding Feature Story in Spanish and won a Silver Telly Award in 2023 for Best Television General-Sports, underscoring his storytelling prowess and production excellence.
Earlier in his career, Chadi held various roles that contributed to his comprehensive understanding of media production. He was a Film Director and Assistant Director at WS Production from 2014 to 2015, focusing on corporate films, TVCs, and documentaries. As a Cameraman and Video Editor at Adabisc Future Qatar between 2013 and 2014, he worked on corporate films and TVCs, refining his technical skills. In 2013, he served as a Cameraman for Al Jadeed TV, contributing to television programs and studio shows, which enriched his experience in broadcast media.
