
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Christopher Duntsch is a neurosurgeon, neuroscientist, and biotechnologist with extensive experience in both clinical practice and scientific research. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Vertebrate Zoology, as well as doctorates in Medicine and Philosophy, specializing in Cell and Molecular Biology. Following his academic training, Dr. Duntsch completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in Neuro-oncology, a general surgery internship, a neurosurgical residency, and a fellowship in Spine and Spinal Biomechanics.
In his academic career, Dr. Duntsch served as an Assistant Professor and led a research program comprising five laboratories. He was the principal investigator on multiple projects, securing millions in research grants, including an NCI NIH RO1 grant for brain cancer experimental therapeutics. Throughout this period, he trained over 15 scientists and directed the Molecular Neurosurgery Research Program.
