Dan Jape is a seasoned professional in the mechanical and industrial engineering sector, with a career spanning over four decades. He is the owner of Reliable Heating & Air, a prominent HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contracting firm based in Woodstock, Georgia. Since founding the company in January 1978, Dan has been committed to delivering exceptional service to both residential and commercial clients in the greater metro area.
Dan’s journey into the HVAC industry began in the early 1970s. Between 1972 and 1973, he worked as an HVAC Tech Helper for the DeKalb County School System during the summer, gaining initial exposure to the field. He further honed his skills at Industrial Controls Corp. from 1975 to 1978, where he served as an HVAC technician. This role provided him with invaluable experience in mechanical contracting, encompassing both commercial projects and Section 8 low-income housing rehabilitations. These formative years equipped Dan with the expertise and confidence to establish his own contracting business.
