Dr. Dan Budenz is a multifaceted professional whose extensive career spans psychotherapy, medical model and rehabilitation innovation, family advocacy, and media production. He has significantly influenced mental health and addiction programs, establishing himself as a leading expert in whole family intervention and recovery, adolescent and adult fetal alcohol/chemical syndrome (AFACS), affected family member syndrome (AFMS), true recovery symptoms, and prelapse and relapse theory.
Dr. Budenz’s academic journey is marked by a strong foundation in psychology and counseling. He holds an Associate of Arts in Pre-Medicine, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) internship, and a Ph.D. in Humanistic Psychology.
