BIOGRAPHY
Gene Leonard is a seasoned management consultant and co-founder of Lean Business Systems, where he serves as the Principal Lean Consultant. His expertise lies in Lean Policy Deployment, commonly known as “Hoshin,” as well as Leadership Development and Lean Programme Design. Through his work, Leonard has been instrumental in guiding organizations toward operational excellence and strategic alignment.
Before establishing Lean Business Systems in January 2001, Leonard amassed significant experience in the technology sector. He held the position of EMEA Engineering Director at Dell Computers from 1991 to 2001, overseeing engineering operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to that, he served as a Test Engineering Supervisor at Sanmina-SCI between 1989 and 1990, and as a Test Engineer at Wang from 1983 to 1986. These roles provided him with a robust foundation in engineering and management, shaping his approach to lean methodologies.
