Gerardo Poblano is a highly experienced Quality Assurance (QA) professional with over 17 years of expertise in manual software testing. His career has been focused on ensuring that software products meet the highest standards of quality by identifying bugs, validating functionalities, and guaranteeing user satisfaction. Gerardo’s analytical skills and methodical approach to testing have made him a valuable asset in various industries. He is proficient in utilizing Agile methodologies, conducting exploratory testing, and developing strategic QA frameworks tailored to each project’s unique needs. His broad technical proficiency allows him to work across a range of platforms and industries, always with a keen eye for detail and efficiency.

In his most recent role at Globant, Gerardo served as a Senior Manual QA Tester, where he was responsible for executing comprehensive regression tests during sprint release cycles. He also created detailed test cases for each requirement, tracked incident resolutions using JIRA/XRAY, and prioritized key testing scenarios to ensure software stability across both Mexico and US-based projects. Gerardo’s work extended to API testing and component integration, ensuring that all systems functioned seamlessly together.
