BIOGRAPHY

Jesse Tatro is a seasoned IT professional with over 17 years of experience in providing comprehensive systems administration and technical support across various industries. He has developed an extensive skill set working with a wide range of technologies, from Windows server operating systems to networking and disaster recovery solutions. Currently employed as a System Administrator at ONX, Inc., Jesse is responsible for managing and supporting a large number of servers and workstations for clients in sectors such as oil and gas, healthcare, legal, and retail. His role includes not only the day-to-day operations but also the design, deployment, and maintenance of tailored systems that meet the specific needs of clients.

Jesse began his career as a Field Technician at Computer Nerdz of Tulsa, where he honed his skills troubleshooting PC hardware, software, and networking issues. During this time, he was also responsible for building custom desktops and setting up home networks and backup solutions. His ability to work directly with clients, identifying their technical challenges and providing efficient solutions, set the foundation for his transition into more complex IT roles. As he moved into the role of Senior Help Desk Technician at ONX, Jesse expanded his expertise by leading the support team and developing policies and procedures to support the company’s growth. In his current position as System Administrator, Jesse oversees the support of over 270 servers and more than 1,200 workstations. He manages virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware, helping to optimize system performance and minimize downtime. His work in network administration includes configuring routers, firewalls, switches, and ensuring high network transfer speeds. Additionally, he handles DNS hosting, email services, and the implementation of remote access technologies.

Jesse’s educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Computer Systems and Network Technology from Vatterott College, where he also earned a diploma in Computer Technology. Over the years, he has supplemented his formal education with certifications in A+, MCTS, and MCP, which have enhanced his technical proficiency and allowed him to remain at the forefront of emerging technologies.
