Jessica Tullos

From 2006 to 2015, Jessica served at Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Mississippi, where she taught Physics, Advanced Placement (AP) Chemistry, Chemistry, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Biology II. Her dedication to education was recognized when she was honored as the Enterprise High School Teacher of the Year for the 2006-2007 academic year and received the STAR Teacher award in 2007-2008. In 2015, she expanded her teaching experience to Campbell Junior High School in Winchester, Kentucky, instructing 7th and 8th-grade science students. The following year, she joined Powell County High School in Stanton, Kentucky, as a Biology and Human Anatomy and Physiology instructor, a position she held until 2018.

In the 2018-2019 academic year, Jessica taught at Quitman High School in Quitman, Mississippi, where she instructed AP Chemistry, College General Biology, Chemistry, and Biology. She then returned to Enterprise High School for the 2019-2020 academic year, teaching AP Physics, Physical Science, Earth Science, and Introduction to Biology. Throughout her career, Jessica has demonstrated a commitment to fostering a comprehensive understanding of science among her students, preparing them for academic success in higher education and beyond.

Beyond her teaching responsibilities, Jessica has actively contributed to various committees and sponsored student organizations. She has been involved in the “Leader In Me” Advisory Committee, Textbook Selection Committee, Homecoming Committee, and served on the Site-Based Decision-Making Council at Powell County High School. Her dedication to professional development is evident through her attainment of Level 1 Google Certified Educator status in 2017. Additionally, she has sponsored student organizations such as the National Beta Club and the National Honor Society, fostering leadership and academic excellence among her students.

Jessica holds Mississippi teaching certifications in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, General Sciences, AP Physics, and English, reflecting her broad expertise and versatility as an educator.
