
BIOGRAPHY
Jessica Tullos is an accomplished science educator with extensive experience teaching various scientific disciplines across multiple educational institutions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg between 2001 and 2003, following an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson from 1999 to 2001. Her academic background laid a solid foundation for her teaching career, equipping her with comprehensive knowledge in biological sciences.
Jessica’s teaching career commenced in 2004 at North East Jones High School and Middle Schools in Laurel, Mississippi, where she instructed Algebra II, Math Lab, and Physical Education. Later that year, she transitioned to Newton Municipal High School in Newton, Mississippi, teaching Physics, Chemistry, Science Skills and Reasoning, Environmental Science, and English II until 2006. These early roles allowed her to develop a diverse teaching portfolio and adapt to various educational settings.
