Joe Gladstone is an academic leader and researcher with a specialization in consumer financial decision-making, subjective well-being, and behavioral economics. He currently serves as the Co-Director of the Center for Consumer Financial Decision Making at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he is also an Assistant Professor of Marketing. With a PhD in Marketing from the University of Cambridge, his research interests focus on understanding how psychological factors such as personality traits, optimism, and emotional responses influence financial behaviors and well-being. His academic contributions have led to groundbreaking publications in top-tier journals, where he explores the intersection of personal finance and psychological theories.
Before his tenure at the University of Colorado, Joe was an Assistant Professor at University College London (UCL), where he expanded his research on consumer behavior.
