Keith D. Weinstein is the President and Founder of Greystone Realty Group, a commercial real estate development firm based in Peoria, Illinois. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Keith has successfully developed a wide range of commercial properties, including retail, office, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily, and hospitality projects. His expertise in commercial development, coupled with his deep understanding of financing and entitlement strategies, has allowed him to manage multi-million-dollar deals across the Midwest. Keith is especially known for incorporating historic rehabilitation tax credits, green credits, and public-private partnerships into his projects, which has enhanced the value and sustainability of his developments.

Keith founded Greystone Realty Group in 2000, bringing together his diverse skill set in real estate brokerage, management, investments, and finance. Prior to this, Keith worked as an appraiser at Citizens Real Estate, specializing in real estate tax concerns. These early experiences laid the foundation for his future success in the commercial real estate development field, helping him develop a comprehensive understanding of both the technical and financial aspects of real estate projects.

In addition to his work at Greystone, Keith is a respected figure in the commercial real estate industry. He has achieved numerous professional credentials, including the designation of CLS from ICSC and completing all coursework for the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation. Keith’s education includes a dual major in Economics and Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he developed a strong academic foundation in real estate. He also spent time at Southern Methodist University, where he focused on business studies before transferring to the University of Illinois.

Keith is not only committed to his professional development but is also deeply involved in his local community. He previously served on the City of Peoria Zoning Board for nearly five years and has participated in numerous charitable boards and committees throughout his career. His community involvement is a reflection of his belief in giving back and contributing to the growth and development of his hometown. Keith’s interests outside of real estate include golf, tennis, technology, and sustainable living practices, such as green building techniques, solar power, and wind energy.
