Keith Ketheeswaran is an accomplished Chartered Accountant and a highly regarded governance and performance assurance leader, currently serving as the Executive Director at GEO Group Australia. With over 25 years of international experience, Keith has built a distinguished career helping organizations navigate some of the most complex performance challenges across various sectors. His work focuses on delivering value for money for the public sector, working alongside governments on the eastern seaboard of Australia. Through his leadership, he ensures that organizations meet their goals consistently, reliably, and predictably, enhancing their overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Keith’s professional journey began in 1995 when he assumed the role of Managing Director at QAS, now known as SAI Global, where he led efforts to establish and strengthen corporate governance practices. His tenure at QAS laid the foundation for his future leadership roles, providing him with extensive expertise in risk management, compliance, auditing, and governance. His work at SAI Global helped shape the company’s strategic direction, and his ability to develop and execute strategies that promoted organizational growth and performance excellence was a key factor in the company’s success during his leadership.

In 2002, Keith moved on to become the Managing Associate at ERA, where he further honed his skills in governance and performance assurance. His experience across both the public and private sectors allowed him to gain a unique perspective on how organizations across different industries can overcome complex challenges and achieve desired outcomes. His leadership and advisory roles during this time helped numerous companies and organizations enhance their operational efficiency and improve their overall business performance. Keith’s diverse background in consulting, auditing, and strategic management has provided him with the ability to create impactful solutions that address critical governance, financial, and risk-related issues for various types of organizations.

Since 2005, Keith has been with GEO Group Australia, where he has served as the Director of Governance and Performance Assurance. In this capacity, Keith is responsible for overseeing governance frameworks and performance management processes, ensuring that GEO Group delivers on its contractual obligations and maintains high standards of service delivery. His leadership in managing key contracts, particularly those with government bodies, has earned him a reputation as an expert in tendering for major government contracts and managing complex negotiations.
