Konstantinos Michanetzis is a dynamic entrepreneur, naval officer, and technology innovator with a diverse career that spans across military service, IT entrepreneurship, and business leadership. Konstantinos began his professional journey in the Hellenic Navy, where he held various positions from 1991 to 2008. His early years as a naval officer involved working on some of Greece’s most advanced naval vessels, including the “HS ELLI” and “HS ADRIAS” frigates. Throughout his naval career, he gained invaluable experience in naval engineering, ship design, and damage control, participating in multiple NATO operations. His expertise in the design and maintenance of naval systems, along with his role in overseeing ISO 9001 certification processes, laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors. Konstantinos’ ability to manage complex projects and lead teams under high-pressure conditions was honed during his time in the military, particularly when overseeing the modernization of the “S” class frigates and the procurement of high-speed patrol vessels.

Following his tenure in the Navy, Konstantinos transitioned to the private sector, founding and co-founding several successful businesses. In 2002, he co-founded HeBS Ltd, a pioneering IT company that developed SaaS applications and led the charge in e-commerce solutions in Greece. His role as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at HeBS was marked by innovative developments such as the creation of Greece’s first online wholesale e-commerce marketplace. Konstantinos also spearheaded various logistics and supply chain management solutions, further solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking entrepreneur. His leadership and technical acumen contributed to HeBS becoming one of the most influential technology companies in Greece.

As an advocate for startups and innovation, Konstantinos co-founded Sylipsis Corporation and Seeders IKE. Sylipsis, a company dedicated to helping entrepreneurs in the hard science fields and specialized markets, reflects his commitment to fostering innovation and providing the resources necessary to bring groundbreaking products to market.
