In 2007, Mathew’s journey took him to China, where he worked as a foreign English teacher, gaining invaluable experience in communication, cultural exchange, and education. This opportunity broadened his perspective and enhanced his ability to connect with diverse audiences. Upon returning to the U.S., he continued his career in community management, working for Quest Online as the Community & PR Manager. There, he played a vital role in directing the marketing and content strategies for the Alganon community, working closely with volunteers and moderators to maintain a thriving and active community. Mathew also worked for Alchemic Dream, LLC, as a Game Master for Lord of the Rings Online’s European community. In this role, he assisted with in-game events and player quests, while also managing technical support forums and customer service tickets. His experience as a game master further honed his ability to respond to player needs and resolve issues in a timely manner, strengthening the relationship between the game’s players and developers.

Educationally, Mathew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Administration with a concentration in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He also earned an Associate’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Fox Valley Technical College, where he developed a solid foundation in computer technology and information systems.
