BIOGRAPHY

Megan Goude is an accomplished Formula Process Engineer at Spatz Laboratories, where she plays a critical role in the development, production, and quality control of various cosmetic products. Since joining Spatz Laboratories in 2012, Megan has excelled in managing the transition of product formulations from Research & Development to the production floor, ensuring smooth scale-up processes. Her expertise spans a wide range of responsibilities, including troubleshooting, process optimization, and the implementation of corrective actions. Megan’s ability to identify root causes of production issues and develop effective solutions has contributed significantly to improving batch yields and overall production efficiency, sometimes by as much as 350%.

In her current role, Megan is responsible for overseeing multiple teams in the manufacturing process, ensuring that new product lines meet both internal and external customer expectations. She works closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement production processes that maximize efficiency, capacity, and quality. Megan’s leadership in troubleshooting non-conforming batches, performing root cause analysis, and facilitating improvements has been instrumental in optimizing production lines and driving product innovation. Megan also contributed to the development of new products by working closely with R&D teams to ensure that stability testing was conducted according to regulatory guidelines.

Megan’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington, where she was an active member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE). She was also the Vice President and a founding member of the Parent Organization at the University of Washington.
