Mohammed Mohd Alarfaj

Prior to his current role, from October 2016 to May 2018, Alarfaj served as an IT Business Analyst at JHAH. During this period, he contributed to the establishment of the project management office within the department and set up the procurement cycle for all IT initiatives and projects. He improved the classification and prioritization of IT purchase requirements and was responsible for reviewing and analyzing individual project accounts in relation to approved budgets. His analytical skills and strategic approach significantly enhanced the efficiency of IT operations within the organization.

Alarfaj’s professional journey began as an Organizational Development Analyst at Saudi Readymix Company from June 2015 to March 2016. In this capacity, he led a Manpower Optimization & Allocation Project aimed at optimal utilization of manpower and the development of effective organizational structures. His leadership in this project demonstrated his ability to manage complex initiatives and implement strategies that improve organizational performance.

In terms of education, Alarfaj earned a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) between August 2021 and September 2022. Prior to this, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at KFUPM from September 2010 to April 2016. Throughout his career, Alarfaj has held several leadership positions, including Business Application Support Manager at JHAH from October 2021 to March 2022, IT Planning & Strategy Manager at JHAH from January 2021 to September 2021, and IT Budgeting & Contracting Lead at JHAH since June 2018. He also served as a Project Lead at Alturki Holding from August 2015 to March 2016. These roles have honed his skills in cost controlling, negotiation, leadership, project management, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and IT procurement.
