Prof Dr Primuharsa Putra Sabir Husin Athar

Beginning his career as a Senior Lecturer and Consultant at UKM’s Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery from 2001 to 2005, Dr. Primuharsa was instrumental in advancing academic and clinical practices within the department. In January 2005, he joined KPJ Seremban Specialist Hospital as a Senior Resident Consultant ENT-Head & Neck Surgeon, where he has been a pioneer in developing the hospital’s ENT services. His dedication to patient care and clinical excellence has been a cornerstone of his practice.

In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Primuharsa has held significant academic positions. Since February 2013, he has served as a Clinical Professor of ORL-HNS at KPJ Healthcare University College in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. He also took on the role of Director and Coordinator of the Master of ORL-HNS program at the same institution from January 2013 to December 2023, overseeing the first private Master’s program in this specialty in Malaysia. His leadership in medical education has been pivotal in shaping future specialists in the field.
