Rabab Galal Nagi is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in driving strategic growth, financial management, and operational excellence across the Middle East, North Africa, and international markets. With over 22 years of experience, Rabab currently serves as the Head of Finance for Huhtamaki’s Flexible Packaging MEA division, overseeing financial responsibilities across the UAE, Egypt, and South Africa. Her role involves coordinating business plans, developing budgets, and ensuring the timely delivery of financial insights that help optimize company performance. Rabab is also responsible for driving capital expenditure strategies, ensuring effective working capital management, and leading transformation projects across various regions, including Europe, North America, and Asia.

Before joining Huhtamaki, Rabab held senior roles at major global organizations, including Unilever, where she played a pivotal role in financial strategy and operations across diverse markets. As the NAMETRUB Performance Management and Finance Excellence Director at Unilever, Rabab was responsible for overseeing the financial and risk management operations of more than 29 markets across Turkey, Iran, the GCC, and North Africa. Her work included guiding the digital transformation of finance decision support activities and ensuring that financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term objectives. Rabab’s expertise in risk management, funding, and performance measurement made her a key figure in implementing Unilever’s growth strategies in these complex regions.

Rabab’s career at Unilever also included serving as Chief Finance Officer for Unilever Mashreq and Levant & Iraq, where she oversaw the financial management of multiple business units in Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Iraq. Her responsibilities included managing accounting, human resources, investor relations, and legal functions while supporting the company’s strategic initiatives. Rabab’s ability to design and implement financial strategies, manage M&A opportunities, and streamline operational processes helped Unilever maintain its competitive edge in challenging markets. Additionally, she led the development of financial and tax strategies, ensuring that the company adhered to regulatory requirements and maintained strong financial health.

Earlier in her career, Rabab worked as Chief Finance Officer for Pepsi Lipton International, a joint venture between Unilever and Pepsi. In this capacity, she was responsible for managing the financial operations across 28 markets in MENA, India, ASEAN, ANZ, and South Africa. Rabab’s role involved navigating market fluctuations, developing five-year business plans, and driving profitability in diverse regions. She successfully launched business models in new markets such as Thailand, Egypt, Nigeria, and Iraq, contributing significantly to the company’s growth and profitability.
