Before joining RFA Bank of Canada, Rob amassed extensive experience in the financial services industry. He spent three years at Home Capital Group Inc., where he held the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In these positions, he was responsible for comprehensive financial support, treasury management, strategic and capital planning, procurement, and investor relations for both Home Capital and its subsidiary, Home Trust. Prior to that, Rob dedicated 21 years to State Street Bank, progressing through various roles to become the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at State Street Canada. He also served as the Principal Officer of State Street Bank and Trust Company – Canada Branch and as President of State Street Fund Services Toronto Inc., highlighting his leadership within the organization.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Rob is an active participant in his community. He has served on nine Canadian and global boards, including State Street Trust Company Canada and the Child Development Institute (CDI), an accredited children’s mental health agency in Toronto. Currently, he is a Board Director for New Hope Dwellings in Ontario. Rob has also been involved with Hockey Canada through the Advanced Coaching Program and has contributed to his local Minor Hockey Association. Outside of his professional and community commitments, he enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining physical fitness, reflecting a balanced approach to his personal and professional life.
