Sandra Bartlett is a distinguished investigative journalist and broadcast media professional with a career spanning over three decades. Joining NPR in 2010, Sandra became a key member of its newly established Investigative Unit, helping elevate NPR’s profile in the field of investigative journalism. Under her contributions, the team garnered numerous accolades in its first few years, reinforcing the network’s reputation for high-quality, impactful reporting. Sandra’s role at NPR involved initiating story ideas, conducting in-depth research, managing logistics, and collaborating with various media partners, including PBS Frontline, ProPublica, and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. Her ability to juggle complex projects and navigate tight deadlines made her an invaluable member of the investigative team.
Before joining NPR, Sandra spent over 20 years at CBC Radio, where she worked in various roles as a reporter, producer, and editor.
