BIOGRAPHY

Scott Gibson is a seasoned real estate professional with an extensive career spanning over 40 years. He is the President and founder of Gibson International, a prestigious residential real estate firm based in Pacific Palisades, California. Throughout his career, Scott has gained a reputation for his exceptional leadership, innovative strategies, and ability to cultivate strong relationships within the real estate industry. His deep knowledge of the Los Angeles market, combined with his commitment to providing personalized, high-level service, has made Gibson International one of the top firms in the region, specializing in the most exclusive neighborhoods.

Scott’s career in real estate began after he graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science. He entered the industry in 1978 and quickly made his mark on the Westside of Los Angeles. By 1983, he transitioned into management and, by 1988, had purchased his own real estate business. Under his leadership, the company flourished, and Scott’s experience in both real estate sales and management gave him a strong foundation for his future success. He sold the business to Prudential California Realty in the early 1990s and rose through the ranks of the company, eventually becoming an Executive Vice President.

In 1997, Scott played a pivotal role during the merger of Prudential California Realty and The Jon Douglas Company, which formed NRT/Realogy. His expertise in managing large-scale operations and leading teams across multiple offices led to his promotion as the Regional Vice President, overseeing 22 offices in the Westside of Los Angeles, including prestigious areas such as Beverly Hills and Malibu. Over the years, Scott’s strategic vision helped drive tremendous growth, with his region surpassing billions in annual sales. He eventually went on to manage all of Southern California’s 120 offices and became President of Coldwell Banker Real Estate in Los Angeles, continuing his legacy of success.

In 2008, Scott decided to venture out on his own and founded Gibson International. The firm’s mission was clear: to provide exceptional real estate services that focus on integrity, professionalism, and customer satisfaction. Scott’s leadership and commitment to delivering top-tier results have shaped the company into a powerhouse, attracting some of the most respected professionals in the industry.
