Tim Schneider is a seasoned Electronics Engineer and Applications Engineer with a wealth of experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), focusing on simulation, verification, and project management. With a career that spans over three decades, Tim has become a trusted expert in the field, working with a wide range of clients to utilize Synopsys software for ASIC, FPGA, and system-on-chip (SOC) design. His deep technical expertise and passion for problem-solving have led to a reputation for providing innovative solutions that meet the complex needs of his clients. Tim thrives in roles that require both technical proficiency and customer-facing interaction, such as pre/post-sales support, training, and technical consulting.
Tim’s career began with his time as an Electronics Engineer at Boeing Military Airplanes, where he worked from 1988 to 1990. During this time, he supported hardware and software engineering teams, developing custom analog modeling software and integrating embedded systems with VRTX Real-Time Operating System. His experience with system integration, UNIX scripting, and C programming laid the foundation for his future career in EDA, which would go on to span both aerospace and semiconductor industries.
