William R. Cross is a highly accomplished Lean-Agile Transformation Lead with more than 16 years of experience in program and project management, specializing in Agile practices. He has worked extensively across several sectors, including defense, banking, health, and intelligence, integrating Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) to improve operational efficiency and drive organizational change. As an expert in Agile transformations, William is known for his ability to guide complex transitions from Waterfall to Agile environments, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
In his current role as an Agile Transformation Lead and Senior SAFe Release Train Engineer at Booz Allen Hamilton, William leads large-scale software development initiatives, managing teams of over 80 full-time employees. He is responsible for facilitating key Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment Planning, Inspect and Adapt events, and Sprint Planning.
